Adissia Holidays FIT and GIT are the terms used by the employees in the Tourism industry for the holiday packages. FIT stands for Free Independent Travelers and GIT stands for Group Inclusive Tour.
Fit Package
FIT packages are for the smaller group of travelers who wish to travel at their pace and would like to customize as per their preference. FIT packages are slightly costlier than GIT packages due to group size, customization etc.
Git Package
GIT packages are for large group which usually have a fixed itinerary and the complete travel plan is finalized. This usually includes all the expenses of the trip such as accommodation, meals, sightseeing transportation, entry tickets of the attractions, tips etc. These will be operated by the Tour operators on a fixed date which is pre-planned. GIT packages are cheaper compared to FIT packages as the size of the group will be large, the hotels will give more discount etc. GIT can also have escorts which will be advertised as escorted tour where you will have a tour manager for that particular group who will take care of your complete trip. Guide services may be arranged (if that is the part of the package) in the destinations you visit. The main drawback of this type of tour is that you have to adjust with your traveling group and you can cannot take your own time, but you have to fix to the time that has been informed earlier.
